Cash App Giving Update

Starting with donations made in 2025, we will no longer be able to record Cash App gifts by individual. As a result, any contributions you make through Cash App will not appear in your online giving record. If you need details about your Cash App donations, this information remains available on your individual Cash App account.


If you would like your Cash App donations to be included in our system, you will need to take action.


Please follow the instructions provided at [https://www.myfaithx.com/cashapp] to download your donation information and send it to giving@myfaithx.com by January 28, 2026 for validation and importing to your online giving record.

Cash App Giving Download Instructions

  1. Open CashApp: Launch the CashApp application on your mobile device or online.
  2. Access Your Profile: Tap on your profile icon, usually located at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select Transaction History: Look for an option like ‘Transaction History’, ‘Statement’, or ‘Activity’. This will list all your transactions.
  4. Find Donation Transactions: Scroll through your transaction history to find the donations you’ve made. They are typically marked with the recipient’s name or identifier.
  5. Export Transaction History: Some versions of CashApp may allow you to export your transaction history. This option, if available, would be in the transaction history or settings section. You can usually export this data as a CSV or PDF file.
  6. Email Option: If the app does not provide a direct way to download the transaction history, you may need to contact CashApp support and request them to email your transaction history to you.
  7. Review the Downloaded File: Once you have the transaction history, open the file in a suitable application like Excel (for CSV files) or any PDF reader. Then, you can sort or search for your donation transactions.
  8. Save or Print for Records: Save the relevant information for your records. If needed for tax purposes or other reporting, you might want to print this information.
